To: のヘッダー MIME エンコーディングが壊れているのは誰の仕業なんだろ。

Samba 4.8.X で確認した限りでは delete-on-close 付けらえた
フォルダにファイルを作れた(作れない場合もある。詳しくは追ってない)
のだけど、4.9.X ならこれで抑制できるようになったのか? ほう。

Samba ではチェックにいくらかの負荷がかかるため、既定値はチェックしない。

くらいが自然ではないかな。(好みの問題)
