[samba-jp:19137] ホームディレクトリを作成できない

いつも参考にさせていただいています。
以下の環境で、samba サーバーをテスト中です。

・Windows Server 2003(DC)
　　       PC名：polarstar.northpole.local
・Redhat Linux Enterprise Server 5 Beta2(Samba)
    　　   PC名：rhel5.northpole.local
・WindowsXP Pro(クライアントPC)
       　　PC名：blitzen.northpole.local

Samba サーバーをActive Directory のメンバサーバーとして登録。
ユーザーとグループは Winbind を使用。
/home 以下は 1777 のアクセス許可を割り当て。
/home/pub ディレクトリ(everyoneアクセス可)には問題なくアクセスできた。

と、ここまではうまくいきましたが、クライアントPCから
ログオンしたユーザーでホームディレクトリにアクセスしようとすると、

"\\Rhel5\hideにアクセスできません。このネットワークリソースを
使用するアクセス許可がない可能性があります。アクセス許可があるかどうか
このサーバーの管理者に問い合わせてください。
指定されたネットワークパスはどのネットワークプロバイダによっても
受け付けられませんでした。"

のエラーが表示されアクセスできません。
また、ユーザーのホームディレクトリも作成されません。

どの設定が足りない、もしくは間違っているでしょうか？
お手数をおかけしますが、識者の方、教えていただけますでしょうか。
